Mandi Time



Now this can be good advertisement for baby shampoo companies......"brand X....no tears for your baby". Speaking of advertisement, yesterday I was reading the editor's journal of an internationally affiliated motoring magazine that I subscribe to. Mr Editor was saying that the catch line of the new Proton Satria Neo was overambitious......"Desire has a new name.....proton satria neo". And he followed that comment by reiterating the flaws of the previous Protons.....(like the faulty power window). More or less he's quite correct on all count.......BUT the catch line. There's nothing wrong with the phrase "desire has a new name" .....nor do I think its overambitious. In my opinion.......in advertising, apart from the association of the Creator....nothing is overambitious. Whats wrong in trying to catch the eye of the onlookers, it is a catch line isn't it?.......so its suppose to catch our attention. And why am writing all this blabber here? I dont know!! My point is however, some people are just too early in going up from their bed and start criticizing this and that. My advice is.....wait till the tide is high then go on boating.....otherwise you's have to paddle through mud and that's just sticky.
